Corporate & Foundation Sponsorship · DFW

Brand-new books for kids who own few, if any, books at home.

When you sponsor a Book Drive for Kids fair, your team doesn’t just write a check, you can be in the room while DFW kids choose the books they’ll keep forever.

Why it matters

At a paid book fair, most kids go home empty-handed.

School library budgets are thin. Many DFW campuses run on about $1,500 a year, and some get nothing from their district. At a paid book fair, the children with no money to spend leave with nothing.

At a Book Drive for Kids fair, every child chooses and keeps a brand-new book for free. Your sponsorship is the difference.

The schools we serve: 87% economically disadvantaged · 99% minority students (TEA, 2024–25). These are exactly the communities CRA and ESG programs are built to serve.

75%

of students have fewer than 10 books at home, their teachers report.

Frequently asked questions

I work at a Title I school. Is my school eligible?

We can’t serve every Title I school in the DFW area, so we focus on the highest-need campuses, those with 70% or more economically disadvantaged students and 40% or more English language learners. Our priority is to serve schools with 80–90% economically disadvantaged students.

Where are your eligible schools and organizations located?

We serve children across Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant counties with free book fairs. Additionally, our Check the BOX program, which mails gently-used books upon request, serves children across the continental United States if they live in a book desert.

What counties in the DFW area do you serve?

We serve children across Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant counties with free book fairs.

Do you take donations of used books?

Yes! We accept books that are not torn, water-damaged, or annotated. We use these books for other outreaches where we do not have a specific sponsor who provides new books. We try to find a home for every book; if we are unable to do that, we trade for children’s books.

How do I organize a book drive?

You can ask your friends, co-workers, and family to donate new and gently used books. Visit our Amazon Wish List to see titles in high demand. We can provide stand-alone donation boxes or you can create your own. Once you set the dates, gather and sort the books, we can arrange for you to bring them to our warehouse in Lewisville for a tour and photo opportunity.Email us to start.
