Corporate & Foundation Sponsorship · Austin

Brand-new books for kids who may not own a single one.

When you sponsor a Book Drive for Kids fair, your team doesn’t just write a check, you can be in the room while Austin kids choose the books they’ll keep forever.

Why it matters

At a paid book fair, most kids go home empty-handed.

School library budgets are thin. Many Austin campuses run on about $1,500 a year, and some get nothing from their district. At a paid book fair, the children with no money to spend leave with nothing.

At a Book Drive for Kids fair, every child chooses and keeps a brand-new book for free. Your sponsorship is the difference.

The schools we serve: 87% economically disadvantaged · 61% English language learners (TEA, 2024–25). These are exactly the communities CRA and ESG programs are built to serve.

Frequently asked questions

I work at a Title I school. Is my school eligible?

We can’t serve every Title I school in Austin, so we focus on the highest-need campuses, those with 70% or more economically disadvantaged students and 40% or more English language learners. Our priority is to serve schools with 80–90% economically disadvantaged students.

Where are your eligible schools located?

Most of our eligible schools are in Austin ISD and Del Valle ISD, with two in Round Rock ISD. We also partner with charter networks such as: Austin Achieve, IDEA Public Schools, KIPP Public Schools, Harmony Public Schools and Wayside Schools.

What counties in Central Texas do you serve?

Travis and Williamson counties. The need in Austin is great enough that we’re focused on serving these students well before expanding elsewhere.

Do you take donations of used books?

We only have new books at our book fairs, so we no longer accept used books. We are also out of warehouse space. If you want to host a book drive of used books in your community, we compiled a list of the most requested titles/series. We are happy to connect you to a partner Title I school that would welcome a donation of gently used books for their classrooms. Email us to find a school near you.

How do I organize a book drive?

We’ll set up a dedicated Amazon wish list of new books so every purchase is tracked and shipped straight to us; an easy way to see the impact your organization is having. Email us to start.

Can my organization make bookmarks for students?

Yes! Handmade bookmarks are a hit with our students, and we need about 10,000 a year. Host a bookmark-making party and get creative; kids love tassels, stickers, and encouraging notes. Mail them to us or drop them at a partner school before a fair. Check out our Instagram page for pictures of bookmarks and get ideas!
