For many of our students, this may be the first book they’ve ever owned.
A Birthday Box turns a library visit into the best part of a kindergartner’s day and ties reading to fun. It also provides Book Drive for Kids the opportunity to serve kindergartners in that school all year long, not just at the book fair.

Whenever a kindergartner has a birthday, they visit the library to celebrate, and their librarian helps them pick out a book.
They take their new book home to add to their own home library.
You fund one Birthday Box at a Title I school for a full school year and you get to choose the school. Your sponsorship includes:
