For many of our students, this may be the first book they’ve ever owned.
A Birthday Box makes picking a brand-new book the best part of a kindergartner’s birthday and ties reading to fun. It also provides Book Drive for Kids the opportunity to serve kindergartners and 1st graders in that school all year long, not just at the book fair.

Whenever a student has a birthday, their teacher opens the Birthday Box to celebrate and helps them pick out a book.
They take their new book home to add to their own home library.
You fund one Birthday Box at a Title I school for a full school year and you get to choose the school. Your sponsorship includes:
