Celebrate World Book Day by joining the Share-A-Book campaign with Book Drive for Kids!
The DFW area has over 630,000 economically disadvantaged children who have few, if any, books in their homes. When you “Share A Book with Book Drive for Kids”, we will share them with children who love reading but have limited access to books. Don’t have children’s books? Your $4.00 donation will place a new book in the hands of a needy child. Together we can build a culture of literacy!
When considering which books to donate, we ask for books to be in good condition. No books that are torn, water damaged or have writing on the front cover or have been extensively annotated (limited writing, such as a name, on the inside is acceptable). We like to find homes for all types of books!
HOW?
- Invite your friends and neighbors to bring a new or gently-used children’s book to your home or a designated drop off location from March 1–15, 2024.
- Complete the form below to log the number of books you have, and give us the location where we can collect them. We will contact you to schedule a pickup date and time.

You will receive recognition for your donation. This is a great opportunity for students to participate in a community service project.
